Alright I’m half asleep and potentially still a little drunk idk but I just had this idea and I want to get it down so I can make a fic out of it.

So the library as we know has some crazy kind of power right? Well… imagine if Laura was kind of born out of the library? A sentient being put out into the university like a white blood cell to attack the problems that had taken hold. Except the library made a human, made her out of memories and histories found in its archives (looking at you vhs tapes), made her in the shadow of the heroines that littered it’s stories. Imagine that the library made a human and sent her into the campus to fix things. Except because she’s human… she makes mistakes and falls in love and fucks things up but she doesn’t stop trying because she’s made out of heroes and hope. And maybe some of her humanity transfers back to the library and when Carmilla said that it found her instead of the other way around… what that really meant was that Laura found her and protected her because the library is Laura and Laura loves Carmilla

Like by no means do I think this is actually canon but fuck if I’m not writing a fic about it
