i never really liked “queer” tv shows or movies because i never identified myself with them, they always felt distant from me and made me feel and frustrated about myself

my life wasnt anything like what i was watching and i was alwas asking myself when things would change and i would finally feel like im part of what i was watching

it still didnt happen

soon i gave up that kind of show/movie and would stick with heterormative media while imagining gay relationship between the characters and thinking about queer headcanons involving them

so i finally decided to watch carmilla and WOW!!!! a queer show!!!! with queer actors/actress!!!! that doesnt look like a queer disney world!!!! that looks like my life!!!! it DOES exist!!!!!

for the first time i saw myself on a queer show and realized how fucking good it feels to look at something that represents you, something that doesnt treat your life like a big adventure in a magical world, something that doesnt make you feel bad for having a common life

carmilla is fucking real and doesnt try to show queer people like a super race that lives in a different world where stuff and ppl works and act different bc they are queer

i never could figure it out why a lot of “queer” tv shows and movies bothered me so much, and carmilla showed me the reason for that: they dont represent me

so thank you @ubykotex and @carmillaseries and all the cast for this amazing little web series that made for me and to a lot of people what other series or movie couldnt do

i hope we gonna have a s03 and more people will watch it and feel better about themselves

and i cant wait for #CarmillaZero!!!!
