Can you imagine little high school Laura being all nerdy? Can you imagine her dreaming about becoming an investigative journalist someday? Can you imagine her being secretly excited about being free from her overprotective father in a few short years? Can you imagine her daydreaming about meeting “the one” in college and falling in love like you do in the stories she loves so much?

Can you imagine her looking at potential colleges and coming across Silas for the first time, having no idea what that name on her computer screen has in store for her?

Because I can and I’m dying inside.

OMG LAURA ON A CAMPUS TOUR.

Laura being super excited and taking notes in a notebook and pretty much bouncing around the whole time.  All the while Mr. Hollis looks on and grills their poor tour guide on campus safety measures.

Meanwhile the tour guide has to keep turning the group whenever something supernatural happens.  “OH-KAY NOW WE’RE ALL GOING TO LOOK AT THE LIBRARY BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING SUSPICIOUS HAPPENING OVER TO MY LEFT.”

But imagine baby nerd Laura religiously taking notes during the tour and at one point when she’s taking notes or super focused on what the tour guide is saying, Carmilla walks by with her nose in some book about Goethe and neither of them realize that the love of their lives is just a couple feet away…..
